We are hiring! Join the CoDS lab to build the next-generation Data Science Platform. CoDS focuses on developing Cognitive Data Science Platforms for federated and big datasets to help the scientific community to discover and learn from each other’s work automatically. The broad areas of research in the group include knowledge graphs, graph neural networks, and parallel/distributed data systems. We have several research projects with big banks and companies in Canada, where we apply our findings in applications related to finance and cyber security.

Concordia’s CoDS lab is located in Montreal, which is a global hub for AI and one of the best cities in Canada for its livability. The city has the highest number of university students per capita in North America and is ranked as the best city to study abroad. The positions start in September 2022 or January 2023.

Key Qualifications

We are looking for Postdocs and Ph.D. students who are willing to publish at top-tier conferences, such as SIGMD, VLDB, AAAI, and NeurIPS, and develop high-impact systems. The qualifications are:

  • excellent skills in programming,
  • Ph.D. or M.Sc. in computer science or a related field,
  • experience in Machine learning, Databases, and Parallel / Distributed Systems
  • excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
